Testing…

Erin

Been talking to DarkOwl, and I think he’s going to be sending me the test for this grade sometime soon.

To be honest, I’m a bit nervous about this. I have been going back over everything, highlighting the relevant passages of the manual, re-reading stuff, but still. I mean, most of this seems to be history, which I do know, mythology, which I also know, and stuff unique to the ODU, which I kinda know. It’s that last one that I am nervous about.

So, I’ll take the test, and hopfully this will show me where I need to study for later.

On a side note, I’m glad to see that people are actually reading this log. Makes things interesting.

Other than waiting for that, nothing much is going on. That is, in regards to learning about druidism. LOTS of other things in my life going on, like waiting for a job offer in DC, my daughter with a 103 degree fever last night and so on.

It’s a shame when the wage you are being paid for skilled work won’t cover the cost of living, when you have to make the solemn choice between eating for the next two weeks and taking your daughter to the hospital if it becomes necessary. I wish to god that employers would understand that. The benefits package I have sucks rocks.

$1000 deductable for each family member on ANY major expenses medically
$35 per office visit to the doctor
$20 for generic perscriptions
$35 for name brand scrips
$50 for non-preferred name brand scrips (like Claratin or Flonaise)

all of which means that if my daughter has tonsilitis, I would have to pay $35 to get it diagnosed, $1000 to have them removed, probably $200 or so for medicine, and whatever else the hospital decided to lay on me, which I can’t afford to pay.

For this privelage, the company takes $140 PER CHECK to pay for this.

I may as not have it, it would ultimately be cheeper. TennCare would cover all the above and more, for less money.

Fuck.
