Reminders

Okay, I’ve seen a lot of people reblogging this and saying it’s so horrid, how they will move to another country, how they are sick now and having panic attacks.

DON’T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN????

It’s easy to stop it.

One thing you have to do.

VOTE.

VOTE.

VOTE.

VOTE.

VOTE.

VOTE.

VOTE.

I can’t say it enough times.

VOTE.

Romney/Ryan are counting on YOU to stay home, to protest by not voting for anyone because of how hard it is to get to the polls, how rainy it is outside, how much you don’t like ANY of the candidates, and so on.

The way to stop them?

VOTE.

VOTE.

VOTE.

VOTE.

Go out when it’s thirty below, stand in line and vote for the other guy.  Vote for the Independant, the Green Party, the Democrats, VOTE for someone, but just get the fuck out there and vote.

People, listen to me, your ancestors DIED to get you this right.  Your great Great grandmothers were beaten, had their teeth broken to get this right to you.  Those in other countries like South Africa use this as a source of PRIDE, they are proud to go to the polls, and we have something like a 61% voter turnout.  Most other countries where there is a vote, the turnout rate is like 98%-100%, and people get SHOT for showing up and voting.

But you would rather reblog this photo and talk about how triggered you are than go to the polls.

Stop it.

VOTE.

One final note. IF YOU DON”T VOTE THEN YOU CAN”T COMPLAIN ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT AT ALL.

You pissed away your chance to do something, and you have no right to complain, because by your silence, you supported the government that is in office now.
